The Kerala Retreat
Sunra is happy to announce, after many year’s absence, we will finally be returning to work in Incredible India, the Home Of Yoga.
The holiday will take place at a beautiful newly purpose built retreat situated high in the mountains 100km from Kochin.
Far from mass tourism with stunning views, nestled amidst tea plantations, mango trees and palms, over 200 ayurevedic herbs grow in the gardens. The early morning sun rises over the mountains looking out at what seems like endless tea plantations...an ideal setting for a retreat.
You can come for 7 - 14 days. A minimum of 10 days is highly recommended as you surely won't want to leave).
All levels are welcome. You can jump in the deep end as a beginner or deepen your existing practise. However new or old you are to yoga there is always something new to learn about you your body, your mind, & your soul... & where better than India?
Classes will include asanas, pranayama, meditation and chanting.
Excursions, surroundings and treatments
As well as the magnificent landscape there is a swimmimg pool for your pleasure. Organic vegetables are grown on the land & used in your meals.
Ayuravedic massage & treatments are available onsite. These treatments will be given by traditionally trained locals. This ancient healing art, in days gone by, was handed down through families & not through text books. The practitioners will have been trained in this way.
All information on treatments & excursions will be given on arrival.
